Fontcase app for mac#
I tried many different font managers and really, FontBase has all of the features of a paid font manager. For Mac OS: FontForge, Apple Font Book, Bohemian Coding Fontcase, Mac OS X Font Book.
One newer option that at least looks like a good alternative for their simpler Fonts app is the Typeface app, as a minimal way to organize fonts and look through what they offer. A great replacement for FontCase, if you loved that.

Ohh you reminded me I used to love their Fonts app, which I think was a simpler version of their full Fontcase. Fontcase is a font management application that provides an elegant management system so that your fonts get the same exposure and treatment as anything else.
